Marching Mavericks Commitment Letter
Dear Band Student and Parent/Guardian,
It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to inform you about the upcoming season! We are anticipating a fun-filled and successful season as we plan our performance schedule and participation at football games. The marching season will consist of band camp (Monday-Friday 8am – 5:30pm), after school rehearsals (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3pm-6pm), and various performances at football games, competitions, parades, and other performance opportunities. When the football season has concluded the marching band acts as a pep band, with smaller numbers and shorter rehearsals, for basketball games. **Please be advised, football season typically goes into November and ends in December based on teams record and performance**
All freshmen will receive a $25 discount from their final payment. For siblings, the second receives a $50 discount from their final payment. All fees are due by September 24, 2021, either in full or by installments (If using installments payments, they will need to be collected on July 23rd, August 27th, and September 24th). If an otherwise modified payment plan is needed, please communicate that as early as possible. Please note that all payments are non-refundable.
Band fees can be paid with a credit card online at www.maverickbands.org via the “payment portal” (there is a small processing fee), or with cash, money order (payable to “MCHS Band Boosters”), Cashapp ($MCBandBooster), PayPal, or sent to:

There will be fundraising opportunities for students to earn back part or all of their band fees.
